Our new hut was delivered to the farm this week and we dove straight in to decorating!
The interior walls have been charred and dyed following the Japanese wood treating method, Shou Sugi Ban. We have used this technique across the farm previously, taking discarded wood left in the barns on the farm to create vibrant, weather-resistant wood cladding. This time, we have gone for a softer finish, using lighter whites and blues.
